Every morning I wake up, and I check in with myself. I have a whole roll call of questions and thoughts. One is if I'm happy with my journey and the path that I'm on still. It's never come close to leaning toward a no. Another critical question is, if it all ended today or even right there at that moment, would I feel content with the life that I lived? The answer is always a resounding yes. My Dad has always inspired me, especially in this context. He has been a living, breathing example of how important it is to figure out who you are and what you love to do. I sometimes wonder if this would've played out the same way otherwise. but isn't that one of the biggest thrills of it all? One thing can be said undoubtedly I believe these words that I sing, and that's why it was essential for me to write them and this song. It's how I feel and how I want everyone to feel. Find that thing that is so you; you can't help but do it and live that life worth dyin' for.

Lyrics

I can honestly say
If today was my last day
Yayyya I’d accept my fate
What’s to be done anyway
:
Cuz it is what it is
And we all get what we get
Did you cherish every breath
As for me if nothings left

Oh I lived a life worth dyin’ for
Oh I smiled and I laughed ‘til I cried
Yeah I learned and I loved
Fallen and stood back up
When I could I did all I could do
Don’t know about you
But I’ll say this for sure
Oh I lived a life worth dyin’ for

Yeah I’m feeling fine
It’s just the thought finds me sometimes
Do you think about it some
Maybe I think of it too much

I did not mean to kill the buzz
No that’s not why I brought this up
I guess I just hope and pray
Someday I can hear you say

Oh I lived a life worth dyin’ for
Oh I smiled and I laughed ‘til I cried
Yeah I learned and I loved
Fallen and stood back up
When I could I did all I could do
Don’t know about you
But I’ll say this for sure
Oh I lived a life worth dyin’ for

All I ask one day
Is wherever I might lay
Put these words there on display
For all who might just come my way
Put these words there on display
For all who might just come my way

Oh I lived a life worth dyin’ for
Oh I smiled and I laughed ‘til I cried
Yeah I learned and I loved
Fallen and stood back up
When I could I did all I could do
Don’t know about you
But I’ll say this for sure
Oh I lived a life worth dyin’ for
Oh I lived a life worth dyin’ for
